Lalalalalala... lalalalala...

We went to watch this blue film right after our teachers' day event... and perhaps this is the only blue film (that i know of and not that i know many) which kids can watch despite their young age... because it's called the smurfs =)

probably the youths today cannot really identify with this, but this movie was like part of our childhood, growing together with us... but anyway, this movie centred its plot on one character called clumsy, who was prophesied by papa smurf to cause the capture of the smurfs through his "talent" or rather "non-talent" of clumsiness... and indeed this seemed to be true as he accidentally led the evil magician, gargamel to his hideout which immediately caused a massive destruction of the mushroom houses... incidentally, a vortex leading to the human world was opened and in the midst of escaping from gargamel, they (papa, clumsy, smurfette, brainy, grouchy and gutsy) reached the modern world, with gargamel chasing close after them... thus the adventure continued with the smurfs trying to find the way back home, making friends with one couple and clumsy, defying all expectations, eventually saving the day...

as usual, if you want a more detailed synopsis of the movie, please refer to official sites... but this movie is recommended for its simplicity and humour at many instances, for example like how everyone despaired (with their priceless resigned expressions) at the prospect of clumsy saving the day and like how the smurfs nonchalantly and innocently changed from singing to humming their classic song when the guy expressed his irritation of their song... and it is indeed a happy film, because it will make one happy...

happy... shalalala... it's so nice to be happy... shalalala... *transits to* lalalalalala... sing a happy song...
