In case you are wondering about the numerous posts at one go, I guess it's time we discovered that we ought to be responsible enough to clear our backlog.
Anyway, this funny and lighthearted movie was seen some time back with great enjoyment. It started off with the female lead, as a headhunter for a design company, recruiting the male lead. In an attempt to convince the guy to accept the job, she brought him around New York to, in her very own words, "sell" New York's way of life to him. Of course, the guy accepted it (otherwise it will be very difficult for the show to carry on), gaining not only the job, and also the friendship of this girl, giving credit to the title of the movie.
So what benefits will that be? Since sex sells, naturally that would be it. So the guy became closer friends with the girl and one day, out of sheer boredom and after some admiration of the girl's bottom, he suggested having sex with her but with no emotions attached, to which she agreed. Thereafter, the floodgates opened with numerous scenes of lovemaking, without being lewd.
Meanwhile, the girl got to date another guy, as a rise to the challenge posed by the male lead to flaunt their charms to attract the opposite sex, much to the male lead's jealousy. However, that relationship soon failed and the girl was soon nursing her wounded heart at the guy's hometown. Then, the girl got angry with the guy, after overhearing a comment by the guy, indicating that she was very screwed up. That followed by some cold war and hate towards each other.
The final segment showed the father of guy reminiscing his past and talking about not regretting and giving up one's love. This spurned the guy to win the girl's heart back and he did so by doing a flash mob scene, which is distinctively similar to how the girl attempted to entice the guy to accept the job.
My dear and I both enjoyed ourselves, loving the film's simplicity and its witty dialogue. I guess we were just suckers for romantic comedies.
