Our AD Videographer... Takashi Wai

Hmm, guess that's how I'm going to advertise my videographer for free, even though we had not had his services yet. Then again, I guess I did not do much advertising also.

Initially, as a measure to cut budget in view of the fact that inflation is constant and that our economical bids for a roof over our heads keep on getting rejected, we wanted to forgo videotaping our actual day. Somehow along the way, after considering that it is indeed once-in-a-lifetime affair (I figure I will not be alive if I thought of it otherwise), we then thought of buying a camcorder with our yearly handout from our all-encompassing employer in the form of LDS and asking one of our friends to tape the event. Somehow again along the way, we decided to browse a few websites belonging to a few videographers to take a look at their products. Well, no harm looking and ever since our episode with the bridal studio, we figured that doing some homework online will always land us in a better position to capitalise on the best deals. Also, I think this was also after we met up with one of the potential photographers last week and he recommended a particular videographer, Wai. And then, my dear fell in love with this videographer...'s work. And she has never looked back.

Well, as her significant other, I truly concur with her view (no, she definitely did not point a knife at me) and so we set up an appointment with Wai at Bedok's MacDonalds where we looked through his portfolio briefly on his laptop but with extremely low battery. Despite the shortcomings of his equipment (I was referring to his laptop, in case you are wondering), I personally find him sincere and a very nice person. I already had that feeling through his sms, prior to meeting up. As for my dear, she was convinced why Wai named himself that way after meeting him.

Anyway, since we were very convinced of the professionalism of his work, we did not really need to see much in the first place, thus we paid our deposit and we are one more step towards completion of the preparations for our big day.

I simply cannot wait for that day to come =)
